New hire expands XPT’s commercial P&C binding capabilities across key property-driven risk segments
February 4, 2026 — XPT Specialty, a leading wholesale broker for commercial and personal insurance, today announced that Kyle Goedeke has joined the firm as an Underwriter/Broker. Goedeke brings nearly a decade of experience across wholesale brokerage, underwriting, and excess and surplus (E&S) line placements, further strengthening XPT’s binding authority and market-facing capabilities.
In his role at XPT Specialty, Goedeke will underwrite and place a wide range of commercial P&C binding business, with a focus on Owners, Landlords & Tenants (OL&T), hospitality, and habitational risks. He will work closely with retail agents to structure and place coverage for complex property and liability exposures, supporting efficient execution within XPT’s binding authority environment.
Before joining XPT Specialty, Goedeke held senior underwriting and brokerage roles at QuoteWell and Southwest Risk, L.P. Earlier in his career, he also built a strong foundation in wholesale insurance through underwriting and brokerage positions at LP Risk, RT Specialty, Risk Placement Services, Inc., and Bass Underwriters.
