Polovich to leverage expertise in underwriting to further XPT’s regional growth
September 18, 2024 — XPT Specialty, a leading wholesale broker for commercial and personal insurance, today announced new broker, Andy Polovich, will be joining the Mid-Atlantic office. Polovich is an established underwriter with more than 12 years of experience in the insurance industry.
XPT Specialty’s Mid-Atlantic office is growing rapidly and Polovich’s addition to the team will further the company’s momentum. Prior to joining XPT, Polovich was an underwriter and broker for more than six years at Risk Placement Services, Inc., and a broker at Hull & Company for nearly four years. He will assist XPT’s growth in the Mid-Atlantic office, further highlighting XPT’s commitment to expansion and goal of attracting high-level wholesale experts.

In January, XPT Specialty announced a new binding and brokerage team in the Middle Atlantic and Northeast region to fuel the company’s expansion. The underwriting team is led by Gregg Guerreiro, EVP & Regional Leader, Kayte Haney, AVP & Underwriting Manager, Michael Haney, Underwriter, Amanda Wagner, Underwriter, Alex Walbrandt, AVP/Underwriter and Jon Gindhart, Underwriter. All the new additions to the Mid-Atlantic team aim to enrich the company’s knowledge base and provide clients with the highest service.
